The Female Co is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and girls, alongside women and girls in regional, remote, and discrete communities, by providing access to sport and education. Based in Cairns and extending throughout the Far North, we offer a suite of high performance programs designed to nurture and promote female talent at various stages of their athletic careers. Our offerings include the Elite Athlete Program, Emerging Athlete Program, educational sessions, mentoring, and active promotion of female athletes. At The Female Co, our mission is to close the opportunity gap for women in these underserved areas, fostering a community where every woman and girl can achieve her full potential in sports and beyond.
